Prime Minister Sushil Koirala on Thursday met leaders of all 31 political parties to discuss key issues, including a key power trading pact, to be taken up with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his maiden official visit to Nepal.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Nepalese Parliament and offer prayers at the famed fifth-century Pashupatinath Hindu temple during his first visit to the country from August 3.
He also performed puja at Basuki Naag temple in the premises by pouring milk.
Modi seems to have an innate faith in his capabilities to handle the myriad challenges confronting the nation and would rather manage the affairs of the nation as a CEO would of a large industrial-business empire, observes Virendra Kapoor.
